The words of the Global Peace Prayer are a culmination of my experience, purpose and vision cultivated since having had the great pleasure and privilege to work with many people from all walks of life from the homeless to the extremely wealthy. It is my intention that these positive words are known around our world, as I believe every person deserves this quality of life.
Although I have had the words printed on the back of my brochure since 2006, it is only since March 2008 they have been printed in postcard form. Every word is positive and I was simply inspired to create these few sentences to provide consistency in the power of positive words, thoughts and intention, in understanding that whatever we think, say and do we create in our lives.
Both HRH Prince Charles and Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu have acknowledged the words by letter to me, and the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund (UK) have used them at an event. When I recently met Trevor McDonald, to my absolute delight he told me that he had already received one! Edwin Courtenay, a well known Spiritual Teacher has fully supported and recognised their Source.
Lama Khemsar Rinpoche who is a Tibetan Yungdrung Bon Lama and Spiritual Director of the Yungdrung Bon Study Centre UK has described them as the "Golden Key". I have also sent some to Nelson Mandela, Barack Obama, Richard Branson, Joanna Lumley, Cliff Richard and many others. I am gathering many positive stories of how these words are affecting people individually and in groups.
I am SO very happy to say there are nearly 40,000 of these cards winging themselves around our world with magnified intention on the wings of Love. I very proudly received an Ambassador of Peace Award from the Universal Peace Federation in March 2009, which was only made possible by the goodwill of everyone I meet. So thank you for all your very generous sharing. The award is for All of us. I now actively work with the 'Universal Peace Federation', the 'Women's World Peace Federation' and 'Uniting the Nations' in support of our aim for World Peace.
Working on the basis of a quotation by Mark Penn who has written a book called Microtrends: The small forces behind tomorrow's big changes: "It takes only 1% of people making a dedicated choice - contrary to the mainstream choice - to create a movement that can change the world". I am hugely grateful to everyone who feels they can share these positive words amongst their family and friends to help towards magnifying our intention and create the tipping point for WORLD PEACE.
