And another new venue!

Having run three shows at the Racecourse in Newcastle we have to admit that whilst it is a great venue in some regards, it is not quite right for our purposes. We needed a new home for our Northern show!

After enquiry among the locally based exhibitors, we set off armed with a list of possible alternatives to view. We settled on the Lancastrian Suite in Gateshead as the new home for the show, but were also very drawn to Rainton Meadows Arena, half way between Durham and Sunderland.

Was there sufficient interest in the area to support a show we wondered? The manager told us that Colin Fry was visiting a couple of months after our viewing - the tickets had gone on sale although it had not at that time been properly advertised and they had already sold 500 of them! OK, we were convinced, and so a third Northern show was born.

The show has all the usual BSSK attractions - Zone of Tranquillity, a relaxing space to sit and reflect, the free Children's Angel Feather Hunt with a prize for every child, and the free prize draw for every paying adult. This is drawn at 4pm on the Sunday of the show - don't worry if you are not on site, we ring and notify the winner and winners are listed on the website after the show.

There is heaps of free parking and refreshments available onsite, so it is quite possible to spend a whole day listening to talks, attending workshops, and connecting with like minded people. A real treat for your Mind, Body and Spirit!

We still have a large number of our exhibitors making the trip from the midlands and south to support the northern shows but are happy to see increasing numbers of local exhibitors joining the BSSK family.
