2011 saw the start of a new show in Newcastle, the furthest venture North for BSSK.

For some time, visitors had made the journey up and down the A1 to our Midlands shows, and we kept being asked to go North. Coincidently, a friend of BSSK is the webmaster for a website where therapists register their services. He decided to look for where we should take the shows next, by looking for areas where there were a large number of therapists registered, but no show. The thinking behind this was that if the area supported a large therapist contingent, there must be enough public interest in complementary therapies and associated areas to support this.

Sounded good to us and the place he came up with? Newcastle!

This is our first visit of the year and our fourth Newcastle show - we are looking forward to building on its success and having a bi-annual Newcastle event which is as eagerly awaited as many of the others.

This show gave us the opportunity to welcome some new exhibitors to the 'BSSK family', as this was just a bit too far for some or our more southerly based exhibitors. This is always good news though, as it keeps things fresh, vibrant and exciting. The exhibitors that joined us have meant that this show still offers the usual mix of complementary therapies, divinations and readings and retail stands visitors expect to see at a BSSK event.

The Racecourse is a wonderful venue - set in acres of relaxing parkland, offering heaps of free parking - café and amenities strategically located within the exhibition hall and space for talks in close proximity! Made to order in fact!
