A new venue for Grimsby!

60 stands!The BSSK Mind, Body & Spirit Weekends start their 13th year with an exciting change! We are still having our first outing of the year at Grimsby, but this time at a NEW venue! If you have never been to the Grimsby event, now is a good time to give this show a try - if you have, we hope to see you again in its new home!

In this, the 11th year of the Grimsby show, we are excited to be moving to the Humber Royal Hotel! The Humber Royal is located a stone's throw from Grimsby town centre overlooking the open fairways of Grimsby Golf Club. From the outside it appears to be an uninspiring 60's concrete block, this is really a case of appearances being very deceptive! The whole hotel has been refurbished to a high quality in a contemporary style and the function suite is just made for our needs.

The new venue offers some definite improvements, such as a dedicated, fully contained talks room, large enough for our purposes, on the first floor (lift available). For years we have struggled with the noise from the foyer drifting into the talks at the Auditorium, so this represents a welcome improvement.

Next, there are superb refreshment facilities within the area of the function suite and in "The Brasserie at the Humber Royal", which offers a casual, contemporary dining experience where you can relax and enjoy views over the golf course. Although our outside caterers have done well over the years at the Auditorium, having comfortable surroundings to sit and enjoy refreshments that one has not had to queue up outside for is another definite plus point, particularly in January!

The hotel has two car parks and other parking is available close by, including on-road. There is a bus stop right outside the gates too.

The function suite has its own dedicated entrance, which will be clearly signed and so there is no need to go through the main hotel on arrival, just enter the function suite entrance and sink into the sumptuous carpet as you enjoy the wonderful experience of the first BSSK Mind, Body and Spirit show of 2013.

The show has all the usual BSSK attractions - Zone of Tranquillity, a relaxing space to sit and reflect, the free Children's Angel Feather Hunt with a prize for every child, and the free prize draw for every paying adult. This is drawn at 4pm on the Sunday of the show - don't worry if you are not on site, we ring and notify the winner and winners are listed on the website after the show.
