Why meditate?
The reasons different people may have for meditating are Varied. They can range from having health problems to just a wish to try something new. Meditation can help a person find deep relaxation and inner calm, which in itself is a step in the right direction to obtaining a more balanced and healthier life. During the workshop you will learn that your confidence can increase, that no one can harm your inner spirit and that life can be full of more meaningful experiences.
A Warning!
If you decide to embark on this path you should be aware that you may uncover many parts of yourself that you didn't know existed, you may even find that you CAN be happy. Can you handle the excitement knowing that you are the one that has control over how your life should be? You do have the means to change the direction in which your path is taking you.
Timing
What has timing got to do with meditation? Everything the fact that you are reading this now indicates that you have an interest in trying out meditation. To find a workshop that will give you that start in the right direction at the time you are seeking information is all to do with timing…it is meant to be, the time is right.
But don't believe anything on trust- Experience it for yourself, as knowing is more powerful than belief.
Who can benefit from meditation?
Anyone can learn to meditate and benefit from it greatly. It does not matter what religion you follow as meditation has no religion. Like many forms of holistic healing any one can receive it.
The workshop content
What do we all hope to gain from meditation - Inner peace is the main reason, but this is by no means the only one. There are many and you will discover these as the workshop progresses. Also you will discover more if you continue with your meditation after this workshop.

This is a guide as to when you meditate and for how long, to gain maximum benefit from the time spent. - Different sitting positions
The way you sit can make all the difference to a successful meditation. It is also necessary to know the best way if you have any back or joint problems as you do not want to aggravate them in any way. - Obstacles in meditation
Learn how to recognise the obstacles and learn how to overcome them. - How to meditateMany people believe that you should try not to think during meditation, and because of this find it too difficult to achieve as the mind runs away with all the thoughts of the day passing through. In this workshop you will learn methods that are simplicity itself and which allow meditation to happen without the requirement to try and stop thinking.
