The overall aim of the Reiki Degree 1 Course is to create time, space and ambiance to initiate and perform the Reiki Degree 1 attunement ceremonies. This then enables you to channel Reiki through yourself for personal treatments, treatments for loved ones , pets and all sorts of things, even the car or washing machine!
The First Degree Attunement is a ceremony which permanently opens the crown, heart and palm chakras (energy centres) of the person being attuned. During the ceremony, the person receives the gift of healing from the source of Reiki, using the Reiki Master as a facilitator.
Various reactions are possible during the attunement; some people see images, sense movement, feel heat or cold or see colours. Many people experience a deep sense of inner peace. Whatever you experience is valid, even if it is nothing out of the ordinary. How you react to the attunement does not affect the outcome; you will always be able to channel Reiki energy afterwards.
As well as receiving the beautifully relaxing attunement ceremonies during our Reiki Degree 1 Workshop, you will also be introduced to:
- The origins and history of Reiki and it's founder
- The Five Reiki Principles - which are intended to guide practitioners and users in a more loving and harmonious approach to daily living
- The Chakra energy system
- How to use Reiki energy for self-healing, the healing of loved ones, animals and pets, plants and others things
- Cleansing, grounding and protection practices that help to maintain a healthy and balanced energetic state of health and wellbeing
